So what all do you provide?
You’ll get everything you need for amazing audio. This includes two Yamaha Stage Pas 1K speakers, two wireless microphones and all of the cables to go along with them. We even through in some extension cords just in case!
So what do we do for music?
We recommend using the streaming service Spotify. If you have it, great! If not, any streaming service will do. We have a massive song list to to help you put together your own playlist. You can simply drag and drop the songs you want and after you’ve finished your playlist, just download it on a phone and press play!
Why shouldn’t we just hire a dj?
Well you certainly can! But since you asked, here’s the truth: DJs can be a risk. We have seen so many DJs mess up ceremonies, say weird things during the reception and play so-so music for dances. Not to mention the fact that you’re paying tons of money while also assuming that risk. Our business aims to solve that problem by providing you with assurance and affordability. Renting with DJ DIY allows you to get high quality audio equipment at a fraction of the cost of a reliable DJ. Ultimately, do what you want, but we’re in the business of bangin’ dance floors and saving you money!
What if something breaks?
Stuff happens, we get it. But we also can’t serve people if our equipment is broken lol. We approach this with an agreement in the contract that basically says, “if someone breaks something, we split the cost of a replacement.” If that’s a deal breaker, we can talk, but it seems fair to us!
How do we get the equipment?
Pick up is located in Tiffin and is always the day before the wedding and return is the day after! This allows you to use the speakers at your rehearsal which we highly recommend!
